Interactive Motion Graphics (using Flash)
Since the late 1800s, media developers have sought new and improved methods to capture their audience’s imagination through the use of moving images. With the explosion of the personal computer in the late 20th century, media developers were given a powerful tool to engage their audience in new and now interactive ways. This course is aimed at providing participants with the training necessary to manipulate this mode of communication.
Interactive Motion Graphics (Using Adobe Flash) introduces participants to Interactive Motion Graphics from both an artistic and practical perspective, with particular emphasis on understanding its role within the wider media industry. The course is designed as a ‘hands-on’ experience with exercises geared towards creating interactive motion graphics for any number of purposes and/or mediums. The experience gained from these exercises will provide the foundational skills necessary to start producing industry level interactive motion graphics.
